Bangladesh and Russia Settle Nuclear Power Plant Projects in RMB

Recently, according to Reuters, Bangladesh and Russia have agreed to use RMB to pay for Russia's nuclear power plant project in the country. According to the report, Bangladesh is currently cooperating with Rosatom to build the first of the two nuclear power plants in the plan. The project is worth 12.65 billion U.S. dollars, 90% of which is financed by Bangladesh’s loan from Russia. Repayable within the year, with a 10-year grace period.
