The Loading Method of ISO Tank Container

1.Loading by own gravity

Under the action of gravity, the cargo flows freely from the high storage tank to the container tank through the manhole/top loading and unloading opening (see Figure 1). Or the closed system is loaded from the top valve/bottom valve, and the gas in the tank is returned to the storage tank through the air line (see Figure 2).

Ps: Gravity loading requires factory storage tanks to be higher off the ground and less used.

2.Loading by means of a pump
Under the action of the pump, the goods are pumped from the bottom storage tank into the container tank through the manhole/top loading and unloading port, or the closed system pumps the goods into the container tank from the top valve/bottom valve. The gas is returned to the storage tank through the air line.

ps: This method requires simple equipment and is more commonly used.

3.Loading by pressurization
Pressurization is carried out at the top of the product storage tank, so that the goods are loaded into the container tank under the action of pressure. For perishable or dangerous goods, the gas in the tank discharged from the goods should be returned to the storage tank or other storage tanks through the connecting pipeline between the air valve and the storage tank.

Things to pay attention to during loading and unloading: Since there is always a certain pressure difference between the closed container tank and the outside air, the valve must be opened carefully, and the manhole cover can only be opened when the internal and external pressure difference is close to zero. When using the bottom valve, the foot valve should be opened and closed first. Do not enter tank unless instructed otherwise.
