SUNPASS inner and outer rings for SWG wire rod are usually composed of basic body and metal inner and outer rings, in which the inner ring generally acts as a reinforcement to avoid loose rings of the metal winding basic body, so it is also called the inner reinforcement ring, the inner ring of the winding pad. Generally, it is in contact with the fluid medium in the pipeline, and the general material will be the same as or better than the material of the basic body steel strip. The outer ring of the winding pad generally plays a role of positioning and also plays a certain role of strengthening and fixing, so it is also called a positioning ring. The material is generally made of low-carbon steel such as Q235 after galvanizing, and stainless steel such as 304 is also used for higher requirements. The selection form of the inner and outer rings of the wound gasket is generally determined according to the form and pressure of the flange surface.
